JUPITER — Feeding South Florida will distribute food in Jupiter on Friday morning.

The Pembroke Park-based non-profit will be set up in the parking lot at the corner of Scripps Way and Parkside Drive on FAU Jupiter’s campus.

Food will be distributed between 9 and 11 a.m. and on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to a statement from the town.

Those who want to receive food should wait in their cars and open the trunk when it’s their turn in line, the town said.

“After having an opportunity to speak with feeding south Florida leadership last week I am happy our staff and their team were able to work together to find a way to help those in need in our communities,” Vice Mayor Ilan Kaufer said in a text message to The Palm Beach Post.
